What Does My Aura Color Say About Me?

Let’s look at some common aura colors and dive into their meanings

First, understand that the meaning of your aura is not always what the color “traditionally” means; Always consider Individuality. Each person’s aura is unique, reflecting their emotions, personality, experiences, and energy. One person’s “red” aura might represent passion, while another’s might signify anger or vitality.

Also use Intuition and Context: When perceiving auras (a subjective experience), rely on your intuition and the context of the situation to interpret the meaning of colors. How does the color feel to you? What does it remind you of?

Take in a more Holistic View: Consider the entire aura, not just individual colors. The interplay of different colors and their intensity can paint a more complete picture of someone’s energy.

Here are some general associations with common aura colors, keeping in mind they are not definitive:

  • Red: passion, energy, strength, anger, aggression

A deeper look at Red: Unsurprisingly, red is a powerful color for an aura. It speaks to an intensity in the spirit of the subject, and this person will elicit strong emotions in others, no matter what.

Some people love them, others can’t stand them, but no one feels neutral when it comes to an individual with a red aura.

People with Red Auras are leaders and power brokers who can command a room in an instant.

  • Orange: creativity, enthusiasm, sociability, confidence, manipulation

More on Orange: A subject with an orange aura is warm, open-hearted and impetuous. They might sometimes jump into action before thinking things through all the way, but that impulsivity just adds to their charm!

Outgoing, charming, and spontaneous, a person with an orange aura is the ultimate party guest.

In between celebrations, they have a strong maternal instinct and love to take care of their friends and family.

  • Yellow: optimism, joy, intellect, communication, criticism

Yellow, More in Depth

If you spot a yellow aura, the subject is highly intelligent, and puts a lot of stock in logic and critical thinking. This person is methodical, but very creative.

They can follow a spark of inspiration through into a solid, real-world idea, and are generally filled with optimism for a future, since they can see which steps to take in order to make a hopeful opportunity unfold.

  • Green: healing, growth, balance, compassion, jealousy

More about Green Auras: As is often the case, seeing the color green in an aura is a strong indicator that the subject has a strong relationship with the natural world.

This person might have some innate healing skills, whether that means a wonderful green thumb in the garden, or a reliable and comforting shoulder to cry on.

Practical and pragmatic, this person is as solid and dependable as the earth under your feet.

  • Blue: peace, calmness, intuition, communication, sadness

Common ideas about Blue Auras: If your subject has a blue aura, you are most likely dealing with someone who keeps calm under pressure.

This person is generally quiet and reserved, but notices absolutely everything happening around them.

Deeply intuitive, people with blue auras tend to be excellent at reading the auras of others, and of generally getting the measure of any situation. Good in a crisis, they radiate tranquility.

  • Indigo: wisdom, spirituality, intuition, insight, overthinking

  • Violet/Purple: spirituality, transformation, inspiration, intuition, fear

A subject with a purple aura probably has a flair for the dramatic. Purple is a color that was historically associated with royalty, and this individual probably carries him or herself with the bearing of a monarch.

Highly sensitive, this individual can be fragile in the face of setbacks, but is also receptive to inspiration in every form, making them a true artist and visionary.

Other Auras you Man See:

  • Rainbow

A subject who appears to be wrapped in a rainbow of colors is an individual who is in touch with all of the different aspects of the spiritual world.

This person is probably a strong healer with a capacity for sensing the inner natures of everyone he or she meets.

Like a prism, this person takes in the light of everyone around them, and reflects it back as a whole rainbow of colors.

  • Black

Keep a close eye out for a black aura, or a very dark shade of any other color.

Most of the time, this is not the true color of the subject’s aura, but a representation of a negative emotional state.

This person may be going through a period of grief or loss, and pulling on the auras and energies of the people nearby.

This person needs support and cleansing to return to their true aura, or they will become an emotional drain on those around them.

  • White

Conversely, a white aura is a sign of someone with an exceptionally clean or pure spirit.

You often see this kind of aura around babies and very elderly people toward the end of life. They may also sparkle, indicating that an angelic presence is near.

If you see this aura around a person who is not very young or very old, you are probably in the presence of someone guided by a higher power, whether they know it or not.
